And the nBanks Media Center was born....

The era of knowledge "sharing economy" begins now.

Long were the days leading up to this momentous day for the entire nBanks team, although with great certainty, this day will remain in the memory of those who firmly believe that a strong disruption in the financial ecosystem was necessary, accompanying so many more that proliferate every day.

Today there is a unique opportunity to put technology at the service of citizens in general, and businesses in particular, to strengthen confidence in the financial sector. Thus, there is a clear need to adopt a new language, a new ability to communicate and, above all, to transform complex language into simple, impartial, and transparent language. Not necessarily only in the financial sector, but especially in this reality.

The Media Center was born with this firm purpose. To manifest a new way of being and coexisting with what is already called the “knowledge economy”. More than ever, we now live in a culture of sharing, pulverizing, and disseminating knowledge that can only result in a more knowledgeable society, more capable of making conscious decisions. We want the Media Center to be independent. We want it to be a financial observatory capable of making the complex simple and the traditionally opaque legible.

At a time when the most appropriate business model for information bodies is being debated, we wanted to be bold and take a step forward with a new model, a new idea for creating economic content. We want to take advantage of the valuable work done daily on academic campuses. We want to take advantage of the valuable contributions that business and tax professionals, entrepreneurs, and banking executives can bring, and in this congruent way, dare to build a semiotics that now empowers a new world that throughout Europe is called “Open Banking”, that is, an open banking ecosystem, easily accessible, and for which there is a strong predisposition for current financial institutions to also be receptive and collaborate strongly with “fintechs” like nBanks and many others to ultimately satisfy the financial needs of their clients.

No one knows precisely the “design” of the future banking and financial model that European legislation is generating with the new PSD2 (Payment Service Directive). We know, however, that the paths of transparency, impartiality, and shared information will help pave the right way for this new model.  

With this in mind, the nBanks Media Center was created. It is now at your disposal.
