The event called "A Glance at the British – Portuguese Interconnections in Fintech & Blockchain" was organized by the Portuguese-British Chamber of Commerce.

nBanks presented its innovative model at ANJE - National Association of Young Entrepreneurs, in an initiative organized by the Portuguese-British Chamber of Commerce.

Before a full audience composed of entrepreneurs, founders, and legal executives from both regions, our CEO and CFO, Orlando Gomes Costa and Nuno Oliveira, respectively, had the opportunity to present nBanks' value proposition and expansion plan for the next 5 years, including its presence in the British market.

It was an interesting opportunity to also discuss the importance for the banking market of the new "Open Banking" trend imposed by PSD2 (Payment Services Directive) and the role that Blockchain plays in ensuring the transparency and coherence of decision-making processes.

It was equally important to feel the support that the British Ambassador to Portugal, Christopher Sainty, gave to the initiative and to build bridges of understanding among those present to allow business opportunities for both parties.
